My first post

So here I am, as all the many that have come before me, starting my blog. Why for? What for? I guess only time will tell.

My immediate motivation is so that I can join KAL (Knit-A-Longs for the un-knitting initiated). Strange but true.

Also, I'm working in Utah for 2 1/2 months and thought it was a good way for my peeps to keep up with me.
